Genderuwo of group Jathilan Satria Muda
Genderuwo is one of the participants of the dance group Jathilan Satria Muda at Bongsren Village. Genderuwo is a man who wore a mask like a monster. Can you see in the picture that we present. In some people Genderuwo looks very scary. But in art Jathilan, people who wear this mask will be possessed by the devil ghost. It is an attraction in the arts Jathilan, and not dangerous for the audience. Enjoy ^_^
Jathilan Satria Muda is a traditional Javanese arts
Jathilan Satria Muda is a traditional art which originated from Java. Precisely located in Bongsren Gilangharjo Pandak Bantul Yogyakarta Indonesia. This art is called "jathilan". Usually the participants jathilan movement dances to the rhythm of "gamelan" music.
